EqualWeb lawsuit tracker

Public ADA website accessibility lawsuits where the defendant domain was detected running EqualWeb at the time of our scan. Every entry links to the CourtListener docket as primary source.

Inclusion does not imply fault on the part of EqualWeb. Overlays can be installed without vendor involvement, and a defendant may have installed or removed EqualWeb at any point before or after the filing.

No public lawsuits matching EqualWeb in our dataset yet.

The tracker ingests filings hourly and promotes them to public visibility after a 30-day embargo. If you expect a filing to appear here that has not, email us and we'll investigate the matching heuristic.

Why this page exists

We track overlay detection on ADA-lawsuit defendants because there is a legitimate public interest in understanding whether accessibility overlays correlate with litigation risk. Our conclusion — based on live sample data and the DOJ's 2022 guidance — is that an overlay alone does not satisfy Title III obligations.

For an alternative remediation model, see our EqualWeb alternatives guide or Accessio pricing.
